India’s MCMT Industry: Growth Outlook
The Indian Machine Tools Industry will continue to grow at a fast pace. In fact, Indian machine tool manufacturers are now providing more value-addition to the machines, such as providing complete turnkey solutions with commitment to quantity and quality that are on par with their European and Japanese counterparts, making them competitive.
Top Metal-Cutting Solutions for Growth
The major application for parts manufacturing is either round parts or cubical parts. Round parts majorly require turning before further processing and so is the case with cubical parts where you’d require machining centre before further processing. These machines are normally the first machines where basic metal cutting or removal would take place. Then, depending on further processes, grinding, gear cutting, laser welding, drilling or milling could be a combined process with turning or machining centres. Hence, turning machines and machining centres would always top the list.
Top Industries for Growth
The more the government pushes to improve the infrastructure of the country, the higher the demand for machine tools. I suppose the government sector and the public sector will have the biggest demand in coming years. There will also be more demand coming in from the automotive industry as we adopt to BS VI emission norms that require more precision in the machined parts and adaption to newer turbocharger technologies.
Top Metal-Cutting Technologies for Growth
Industry 4.0, Internet of Things, Data Analysis and Sensor technology for monitoring are all becoming imperative in today’s manufacturing environment. These technologies will be surely the biggest growth drivers as long as companies are offer economical value additions with respect to Industry 4.0.
Additive manufacturing is getting more attention but a lot more needs to be done in terms of the development of the technology itself. Many companies are working in this field already, which is a great trend for the industry.
Growth Strategy
We are into manufacturing of high precision high productive metal cutting machines. For us every customer is our partner.
