Dassault Systèmes’ SOLIDWORKS 2024 Enables Users to Create Experiences Smarter, Faster, Together
Dassault Systèmes announced the availability of SOLIDWORKS 2024, the latest release of its portfolio of 3D design and engineering applications that streamlines and accelerates the development of innovative product experiences.
SOLIDWORKS 2024 features new functionalities and enhancements to existing solutions that respond directly to requests from the user community for capabilities to work smarter, faster, and together with their teams and partners. Users will immediately feel the impacts of SOLIDWORKS 2024 on the product development process through better data management, sharing and collaboration that eliminate pain points and improve workflows.
Highlights include:
- Previous Release Compatibility: users can save their SOLIDWORKS data as a previous release in order to collaborate more efficiently with other users who have older versions of SOLIDWORKS;
- Collinear Dimension Command: users can keep chain dimensions collinear, even with limited space, and avoid overcrowding and overlapping of dimension text and arrowheads;
- Cloud Services: users can increase productivity and remove friction from traditional design sharing and file management processes by easily connecting SOLIDWORKS design data to Dassault Systèmes’ cloud-based 3DEXPERIENCE platform, leverage its data management and collaboration capabilities, and access simulation, manufacturing and lifecycle solutions in the 3DEXPERIENCE Works portfolio;
- 3DEXPERIENCE Transition Assistant: customers of any size can bring their data securely from SOLIDWORKS PDM Professional to the 3DEXPERIENCE platform.
Other enhancements to solutions for large assembly design, parts and features, drawing and detailing, sheet metal, structure systems and electrical routing will drive speed and efficiency by enabling users to work easily across different disciplines and convey design intent more clearly.
