Can you provide an overview of Orione Hydraulics’ background and history, including when it was founded and the key milestones in its journey?
I am the 1st Generation entrepreneur, started as Orione Systems in 1992 & incorporated as Orione Hydraulics Pvt. Ltd. in 2005 along with Mr. S. Hariharan. An electrical engineer worked for 10 Years in Mumbai & Oman as a Shift Engineer. In 1989 came to Belagavi to look after my aged, widowed father, this has been a blessing. Worked as a sales and service engineer at Bemco Jacks & allied products for 3 Years, saw the opportunities for after sales service support to premium Brands then. On analysing the market potential for high pressure hydraulics. The company started its operations in rented premises with in-house design, assembly and testing, other manufacturing processes were outsourced. Over the years the company grew by 20 – 30 annually and gradually invested year after year and have built a State of Art Manufacturing Plant 20,000 sq.mt with 250+ employees for High & Medium Pressure Hydraulics Tools, Systems & Equipment.
Orione Milestones & Achievements:
• Purchasing the plant & machinery of the company where the I served as a sales & service engineer
• Declined a buyout offer from Globe’s No. 1 manufacturing similar products in 2012 for 25 Crores, when the company’s net worth was less than 10 Crores
