Indian Metal cutting Industry:
Our Perspective
Transparency and Holistic view on Total Productivity will be key! Competitiveness will challenge the manufacturers more due to complexity emerging in global world due to both the emerging trend protectionism and newer technologies, which are disruptive or innovative.
A lot would be available to choose from in the market for enhancing productivity. People at companies must look at:
- Competent partners with high reliability
- Make every element in manufacturing more value adding
- Invest in future technologies
Due to new technologies and new dimensions in thoughts, it would be extremely important & interesting to drive the competitiveness and productivity with holistic approach. People will have to constantly learn & educate themselves more in future.
How is the Indian automotive industry shaping up with advent of new production technologies?
Change management has become a key task due to faster changes coming in technologies from multiple directions and dimensions. Simple digitisation to complex digitalisation are trends that are creating huge impacts in manufacturing. Industry is learning to be more agile. Manufacturing companies are unique in themselves and every manufacturer will have to look into its setup and take these technology pieces and put them together as per individual needs and create a symphony.
Environmental sustainability: Awareness is high with people all across about the ill effects brought in by many factors of industrialisation so far. People are conscious and have started thinking and contributing towards better environment and health of people. New Technologies are enabling the efforts.
Human Resource management needs a fresh perspective. People need to be educated on progressive views with clearer fundamentals.
Blaser Swisslube: Strategy focus
The Liquid Tool – It is fascinating to see the positive impact, which can be brought by investments in the area of metalworking fluids. Liquid Tool gives us a chance to grow with customers who have a holistic approach to production & manufacturing process and recognise the true value of cutting fluid. We want our customers to be more successful with our Liquid Tool. Our company has been fully committed to provide customers with comprehensive solutions rather than merely products.
Hundreds of cases studies have been conducted in India to witness these improvements at customers’ places wherein investment by customers in our Liquid Tool generated substantial returns on their investments. Many customers have witnessed 8 percent to 15 percent range in cut time reduction and 20 percent to 40 percent improvement in tool life. However, it all depends upon the individual machine setup. Each one is unique.
Providing added-value through our Liquid Tool has become our way of life!
Showcasing at IMTEX The clear choice – Synergy 735
At IMTEX 2019 in Bangalore, the company will be presenting their newest coolant, Synergy 735.
The crystal-clear, water-miscible and oil-free metalworking fluid ensures spotless surfaces that are easy to clean thanks to its neutral pH and outstanding rinse behavior. Synergy 735 has a neutral odor, excellent skin compatibility and offers a clear view of the machining process. It performs in a variety of materials such as titanium and aluminum alloys as well as steel and stainless steel, copper alloys and composites.
Titan Gilroy, former prizewinning boxer, the owner of Rocklin, California, US-based CNC machine shop and a reality TV star, has switched all his machines to Synergy 735: “It’s so clear – it looks just like water. The best coolant I’ve ever used. My guys love it.”
