How has the been the journey of AMF India been so far since its inception?
AMF -India has been at the forefront of bringing state-of-the-art technology in work holding and clamping systems to a large section of the Indian industry. All prime machine tool manufacturers and fixture builders have been greatly benefited from using the latest productivity tools in enhancing machine utilization and capabilities reducing costs and practicing lean.
- The pandemic lockdown has brought about challenges in the day to day operations of companies that have stopped them in their tracks. What are the key Challenges and Learnings .
The greatest learnings have been to be able to maximize existing set-ups and assets in getting the best out of them. In the pandemic, every company went through a squeeze in terms of expansion and capital expenditure, but the winners were those who innovated and improved productivity with limited resources in terms of equipment, manpower, and technology support.
- How do you see ‘Make in India’ push and Government reforms.
This is a great initiative by the Govt. of India and we fully support this reform by adding value to India.
- How do you map the future of the company in India and plan to broaden your horizon here.
We see a bright future in the Indian environment and believe that our country is rapidly becoming the low-cost production center of the world. Towards that our industries need to upgrade to the latest technologies in automated clamping and work-holding systems where AMF is not only a pioneer but also a leader. We have a long journey ahead
