The G350 from GROB

The G350, one of GROB's proven 5-axis universal machines

The G350, one of GROB’s proven 5-axis universal machines, is known for its flexibility and efficiency in the machining industry and will be demonstrating its broad machining spectrum live at IMTEX 2025.

The G350 impresses with its compact design. Thanks to the intelligent arrangement of the tool magazine, the machine width has been reduced from 2,450 mm to a compact 2,000 mm without compromising performance. This allows companies to save valuable space in the production hall and at the same time benefit from more tool capacity and greater machining efficiency. Thanks to the double disk-type tool magazine, it is possible to work with tool lengths of up to 550 mm, which significantly increases flexibility in production. The tool capacity is 60 places, in the double disk-type tool magazine even 117 places. Another strength of the G350 is its high dynamics and short secondary and chip-to-chip times, which further increases the efficiency of the task. The excellent accessibility and visibility into the work area also make the machine particularly user-friendly. All these features make the G350 the ideal solution for a wide range of companies that expect maximum precision and speed in production.

Adaptable for different industries

With its 5-axis universal concept, the G350 is ideal for a wide range of industries – from aerospace, mechanical engineering and the automotive industry to medical technology. Thanks to its modular design and the use of standard components, GROB also guarantees maximum process reliability, cost-effectiveness and durability.

The 5-axis universal machines from GROB

When developing the 5-axis universal machines, GROB engineers remained true to their proven line. Their extensive experience in the systems business enabled them to develop not only the basic concept of the machines, but also all the important components such as the main spindle, plate changer, A/B rotary tables, tool magazine and machine cladding themselves. The result is a high-precision and sophisticated 5-axis machining center with horizontal spindle that effortlessly meets the requirements of conventional machining and impressively underlines GROB’s technological expertise.

The GROB universal machines – G150, G350, G550 and G750 – further expand the modular approach of the G-series and offer an extremely wide range of applications. Particularly noteworthy is the T-variant on the G350, G550 and G750 models, which makes it possible to integrate turning tasks into the process in addition to 5-axis machining. Thanks to their compact construction and well thought-out design, all GROB 5-axis universal machines offer optimum visibility of the work area and particularly good accessibility.
